The established blocks carry mature trees, and on a long gutter run a single blockage backs water a long way before it finds somewhere to go. Metal gutter mesh sized for eucalypt leaf and bark is the fix. Separate valley mesh handles the roof itself, where debris pushes water sideways under the tiles on the tiled homes.

Blocks on the northern side, toward the bushland, are often mapped as bushfire prone, which makes non-combustible metal mesh a requirement rather than an option. Check your section 10.7 planning certificate.
